Working Experiences
Pacific Hotel Internship (2014)
On April 2014, I had a small internship in Pacific hotel in Batam, and I was allocated in the Puchasing Department for 2 weeks. It can be considered as my first hand on experience. It was very exciting and intellectual 2 weeks where I felt how hard is it to work out there.
Pharmacy Scientific Conference 2015
On 14 November 2015, I took part in volunteering to serve 400 pax in a pharmacy conference, the event was held by the Pharmacy School, and we from the TCHT help out to serve and prepare the food in making the event a success. At that time, It is the first time for me to work in Malaysia, and I helped out as one of the Server.
Temptations @Taylor's
Temptations is Taylor's cafeteria where it is run by the TCHT interns and part timers. I have worked a few times there and that was really tiring where you have to clear all the plates that the guests had finished. Through working in temptations, I realized how hard being in the industry is.
WPO YPO Dinner Function in Dato's Loy House
On 3rd June 2016, it was an honor to be able to serve the owner of Taylor's University in their house. We BH12 work together with the culinary students, went there and set up the whole living room into a restaurant, where the tables were set up beautifully as how a restaurant should be. We do a fine dining service and then there are also cocktail reception, it was a really great experience to do this service. The guest that we are serving are all business acquaintance of Dato Loy.

Lancelot Tea Guild (2016)
On the end of May 2016, I started working part-time in this semi-fine dining restaurant. I work as kitchen crew in this restaurant, where I've learned a trick or two of whipping up fabulous dishes. The process of working during peak hours are a really good experience too. It was tiring and was really fun.

23 Aubergine Catering
Working as a part-timer with David from 23 Aubergine catering, can be considered as one of the most fulfiling and eyecatching experience, as with them, I get to watch how different communities handle their event. Some of the events that I had participate to serve them food and beverages is Formula one, Heineken, Mini Cooper event, Tag Heuer Event, and even Tiffany & Co.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur (2017)
This internship is considered as my first professional field experience in Malaysia. It was held for straight 10 weeks from 9th January to 19th March. During this internship I manage to cover the F&B Department and Front Office Department. I feel that after this first internship, I am well-prepared to enter the industry and ready for the next internship.

Grand Millenium Banquet (2017)
Got a chance to work part-time in Grand Millennium KL hotel, has been a very good experience to explore other hotel aside from the previous internship place. Working to prepare for a wedding, and serving guest with a Chinese-style banquet.

Conrad Koh Samui, Thailand (2018)
This second internship is by far my best working experience. It is a new experience for me as it is a resort, and my internship here will last for 6 months, plying my trade in 2 months of F&B training, and 4 months of FO practical. I have so far enjoyed working here, as they provide me with a full authority in performing as a permanent staff, and they also respect and help me along the way. I have also enhanced my Chinese-Speaking Skill in this place, it will be a very important asset for the future.
